MIRACLE ON GAY STREET

MIRACLE ON GAY STREET

Over the years I’ve compiled a list of choice bars and restaurants in cities around Tennessee. I have favorites for appetizers, meals, dessert, and drinks. Given the time I could organize a Knoxville progressive dinner of sorts. While other elements of the meal would be hard to narrow down, I’ve had cocktails covered since 2012. SNAPSHOTS FROM MAIN EVENT

There’s no better way to blow off steam after a long work week than going somewhere fun with friends. Main Event more than fit the bill for our crew with a massive arcade, a bowling alley, billiards, and laser tag. To top it all off they have a restaurant and bar in-house. We each purchased a ticket package that included a game of laser tag, a bowling lane for 6 people, and some extras for around $30. The arcade was pay-per-game but they were all around $2.00 or less. We had an absolute blast and can’t wait to go back. Take a look at this place! Continue reading “SNAPSHOTS FROM MAIN EVENT”

BOWLING AT MAPLE HALL

BOWLING AT MAPLE HALL

Since Chris and I started dating back in 2012, I learned quickly that he and his parents were very competitive when it came to bowling. Sadly I’m a dreadful bowler and when they poke a little fun at me I claim it is because I had actual things to do growing up in Tennessee. I grew up fishing and scraping my knees. No way was I going to give up riding my bike and catching fireflies for fluorescent lighting and rented shoes! Now that I’m a little older I realized I was missing out on a lot of fun.
