Did you know there is a “you pick” flower field in Sevierville? As a self-proclaimed anthophile (flower lover) I’ve spent my fair share of sunny days surrounded by delicate petals and buzzing bees. As a Sevierville naitive I couldn’t wait to tell you all about this small business with deep roots. Continue reading “FIND ME AMONG THE FLOWERS”
Girls night out has been scheduled at Graze for months now and after 2 failed attempts the third time was the charm! I’m excited to see how downtown Sevierville looks in the near future. How great would it be to have more restaurants and maybe even (Heaven help us) a brewery? Continue reading “GRAZE BURGERS”
The latest restaurant in town that you have to try is MonsterMash Burgers. This themed eatery has everything from monstrously large meals to lemonade served in blood bags. Burgers, mac n cheese, and hot dogs are all customizable as well as gigantic shakes. You can indulge in bubbling cheese from a cauldron while listening to The Eagles sing “Witchy Woman”. There are a few changes taking place during this season of my life so I thought I’d write a post for those who might be interested. I’m starting my nurse practitioner clinicals for Vanderbilt this week that will run through the end of July. As hard as I tried, I couldn’t secure clinicals near home but I’m grateful to be closer to my family (cough cough- my nephew) in Sevierville, TN. I’ll be sad to be away from my husband and JoeJoe but thankfully we’re no strangers to driving back and forth. We can do this! After I graduate in August I’ll be looking for a job so I ask that you would pray for God’s provision in that area. I’ll also be driving a lot between Nashville, Bristol, and Sevierville so please pray for safe travels. I hope everyone has a wonderful week! I’ll be settling in to my new clinic role and drinking lots of coffee.
We visited Harvest Moon Pumpkin Patch in Wears Valley last weekend with my brother and his wife. The weather was beautiful and I have to say I’ve never been to a place with the variety that Harvest Moon had to offer. I liked the “Cinderella” and “Fairy Tale” pumpkins best. No surprises there!
