A few years ago I had an amazing girls’ weekend in New York City and I wanted to share the details of our trip. NYC is the perfect place to go for any occasion but if you ask me a girls’ trip is always a good idea. Here’s what we did during our weekend in NYC to help you plan your own.

WHERE WE STAYED
We stayed at a hotel close to Times Square and I would suggest doing the same so you’re able to walk quite a few places. There are lots of great AirBnb options as well.
WHERE WE ATE
Grand Central Oyster Bar
I had no idea this seafood restaurant was at Grand Central Station. You can read my full post here.
Junior’s
We had great burgers and cheesecake at Junior’s.
Ladurée
Amazing French macarons and a beautiful setting! You can read my full post here.
Bobby Van’s
We had a fancy dinner here and the manager sent us glasses of champagne on the house to toast our friend’s upcoming nuptials. The service was impeccable.
Short List for Next Time- Bubby’s, Rolf & Daughters, The Butcher’s Daughter, Keens Steakhouse, Win Son, and Sardi’s.
WHAT WE DID
Empire State Building
Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island
Central Park
Grand Central Station
St. Patrick’s Cathedral
Broadway Show (Anastasia)
New York City holds a special place in my heart because I have family that used to live there and claim NYC as a second home. There’s an energy there that’s unlike anywhere I’ve ever been and I can’t wait to go back soon. If you’re a first timer looking to take a bite out of the Big Apple I wrote about 5 tips for planning a trip and I’ll link the post here for you.
