Our trip to New York City was in honor of my friend Hannah’s upcoming nuptials but she was kind enough to let us go inside Ladurée to sample their infamous macarons. They were every bit as delicious as I imagined they would be! I hope to one day visit their original store in Paris as well but now I can officially say I’ve had a Ladurée macaron. Let me show you around Ladurée on Madison!
Every inch of the shop was candy coated in the most delicate pastel shades. The wait staff behind the counter spoke French and helped me choose 12 macarons to put in my beautiful blue box. If only for a moment, I felt like I was in Paris.
The picture above wasn’t posed. Haha! Kass caught me right after I took my first bite.
As a thank you to everyone who is new to the blog and to those who have followed along from the beginning, I’m giving away a box of a dozen assorted macarons from Ladurée. All you have to do to enter is comment on this post! You can keep them all to yourself, share them with a friend, or give them as a gift.
Good luck everyone!
Until next time,
Carly
This makes me want to go and check it out!! The macaroons look amazing! I think it would be fun to listen to the French spoken there. Thanks for “taking me with you”; even if it was through a blog!

Anytime, Rena! You should definitely go!
I can’t believe none of these beauties made it home. 🙁 Love you Carly!
I ate them all! Sorry! I’ll have to bring you some from Blackbird Bakery in Bristol.
Love reading your posts Carly! Also, these are just little bites of heaven. Me and my boyfriend are big macaroon people!
Thank you so much, Kenzi! I got my husband to try them and he’s hooked, too!
Looks amazing 🙂
They’re delicious! Good luck!
This looks amazing!!!! I would probably keep them for myself. A mom has to have a guilty pleasure!
No shame in that! Moms have the toughest job in the world!
That store looks amazing and so colorful! Do the workers all speak French because they are all from France or is it just a requirement to know french pretty fluently to work there? lol either way I want to go there one day and check it out!
It sounded to me like French was their first language. You should go!
They just so happen to be located on Madison so they must be good 😉
Madi- it’s fate!
