CHEERS FROM ARRINGTON VINEYARDS

Nashville is one of my favorite places to visit but did you know there is a gorgeous vineyard waiting for you a few miles south of Music City?

We celebrated my birthday at Arrington Vineyards and I fell for this place big time. The weather was nearly perfect. We had sunshine and shade with live music playing in the background. We sat at a picnic table on the lawn toasting Arrington’s Firefly Rosé with a spread of the most delicious and decadent finger foods of any picnic I’ve attended.

In true Nashville style, this vineyard is owned by Kix Brooks of the legendary duo Brooks & Dunn. The winery is located in Arrington, TN which is a short 45 minute drive from Nashville but be mindful that Nashville traffic patterns change based on time of day and time of year. Arrington Vineyards is a great place to escape from the hustle and bustle of city life!

This spread made me wonder why I ever stopped having picnics. It’s probably because I grew up in a dry county and I had no idea you could have wine at a picnic!

Arrington Vineyards is perfect for any special occasion as well as a relaxing weekend for no reason at all. This place is surprisingly large so make sure you take the time to see everything. While we were on the grounds a wedding and reception were simultaneously being held and the property is large enough that we weren’t disturbing the wedding party and vice versa. There are multiple locations to buy wine, appetizer type food, do wine tastings, and take tours.

Complimentary shuttles are provided for guests if the walk is too far or you’ve enjoyed the fruits of their labor a little too much. Next time you’re in Nashville make time for the short drive to Arrington Vineyards.

Wine, picnics, and live music… what’s not to love?
