Now that I’m living part-time in Gatlinburg, I get to see my friends who live in this area more often. That means more girls’ days and girls’ nights out and I welcome those opportunities to unwind in my current state of chaos. Recently I met Kass and Hannah for brunch at Brick & Spoon in Pigeon Forge and we had such a great time I thought I would share it with you.
Brunch spots are hard to come by in my neck of the woods so I was thrilled to try out Brick & Spoon. It’s tucked away on Community Center Drive next to Walden’s Landing. They have a full menu and extensive drink selections including coffee drinks, mimosas, and Bloody Mary’s piled high with just about every garnish your heart could desire.
On to the real reason you’re reading this- the food! Kass and I ordered spicy breakfast tacos with parmesan truffle fries which were flavorful and filling. Hannah got one of their enormous omelettes served with fresh fruit.
Brunch creates the perfect opportunity to slow down and enjoy one’s company. We sipped on bubbly mimosas while catching up on everything I’ve missed living 2 hours away. As is the case with old friends, there were more than a few times I thought we might get asked to quiet down since we were laughing so hard. Thankfully, the place was emptying out as it was nearing closing time so we were safe.
Brick & Spoon is open all week long from 7am to 2pm. Get a mimosa flight or a “build your own” Bloody Mary and thank me later.
