We had an incredible trip to Portland! I am thrilled to be able to share Voodoo Doughnut shop and much more with the You, Me, and Tennessee family. Voodoo Doughnut is a place I’ve seen on Food Network and read about on Pinterest. I’ve wanted to go for years and I am over the moon to say that we finally made it happen. Take a look inside!
I was surprised to find that the shop was no bigger than my living room. I can’t imagine how cramped it feels when there is a line full of people desperately trying to avoid the Portland rain. Fortunately, I can report that on the day of our visit not only was the sun shining but there was almost no line at Voodoo. Doughnut gods be praised!

We ordered a Voodoo Dozen which means that the staff pick out 12 doughnuts for you at random. They will, of course, respect allergies if applicable. Here’s what we got!

Pro Tip: Voodoo Doughnut only accepts cash but there is an ATM inside the shop.
I’ve mentioned before that doughnuts are my guilty pleasure and Voodoo did not disappoint. We ended up with a variation of cake and yeast doughnuts both of which were exceptional. I can say with confidence that the yeast mango doughnut was our favorite.
Since I couldn’t bring you all in my suitcase I wanted to give you a drool-worthy video of all the different doughnuts we had to choose from at Voodoo.
You.
Are.
Welcome.
Couldn’t you just stare at that case for days?
Turns out you can buy happiness and it comes in a remarkably illustrated pink box.

See that look right there? Pure happiness.
Where’s your favorite place to get a doughnut? Let me know in the comments.
There’s plenty left to see of Oregon. Stay tuned!
Until next time,
Carly
