FRIDAY 5 THINGS: 5 PLACES WE WILL VISIT THIS SPRING

I’m excited for the days to get longer and the temps to warm up! One of my favorite things about Spring (aside from my birthday) is that tons of flowers will be in bloom. Since I’m going a little stir crazy, I made a list of 5 places I’m going to visit this Spring.

Great Smoky Mountains National Park

I’m ready to go on a hike and not freeze! Snow remains on the mountain well into Spring but the views are gorgeous (like the one above). Charlie’s Bunion is one of my favorite hikes but I’m hoping to see more of the waterfalls this year. Fingers crossed!

Asheville, North Carolina

We are crazy about Asheville. Every time we go there’s a new restaurant or brewery to try. I’m hoping for more brewery/cidery tours and to check out French Broad Chocolate Lounge. Each visit has us coming back for more.

Portland, Oregon

We’ll be heading there for the nearby Tulip Festival in April and I’m ecstatic. I can’t wait to eat at Voodoo Donuts and see Multnomah Falls. I’m thinking of doing a vlog and videoing some while we’re there! I can’t wait to take you guys along.

New York, New York

I’ll be there in April as well (busy month) for my friend’s bachelorette weekend. The only definite plan we made is seeing Anastasia on Broadway. Eeeek!!!!!! I also want to go to the Top of the Rock or the Empire State Building. I can’t wait to see what we get ourselves into but it will be a forever memory for me.

Chattanooga, Tennessee

In the words of Emily Grace… I love Chattanooga. If you’ve never heard her song of the same title look it up! We will be there the first weekend in May for a wedding. I lived there for my first two years of college and it’s still one of my favorite cities in the state. I know there are new things popping up all over town these days but Aretha Frankenstein’s is still my all-time favorite for breakfast. My other favorite place is The Yellow Deli. I’m shamelessly planning our arrival and departure around their hours.

So there you have it… these are the 5 places we plan to visit this Spring. Every time I tell myself I’m getting cabin fever I have to remember that we will be going on adventures shortly. I need that poster of a cat on a limb saying, “Hang in there, baby!” I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. We are going to see “Black Panther” tonight and I’m pumped!

Until next time,

Carly
