I hope everyone had a wonderful celebration this weekend! We went to Ohio to be with Christopher’s family since we didn’t make it there for Christmas. On the drive up, I started noticing LOTS of snow. Once we got to West Virginia the roads were terrible. There were no salt trucks or scrapers in sight. At one point we were going 30 miles an hour on the interstate. The state of the roads ended up tacking on a couple hours to our trip so Chris and I arrived around 2:30 am on Saturday morning. We woke up a few hours later to a dog who was desperate to go out and play in the snow. Sleepily we obliged and we couldn’t keep him inside for very long. If you’ve ever seen Irving Berlin’s “White Christmas” you’ll understand why I kept thinking of Rosemary Clooney… “I want to wash my hands, my face and hair with snow.” If only dogs could sing!

I’m sure at this point you’re thinking, “Quit gabbing (Do people say “gab” anymore? I’ve heard I have the gift.) and tell us about the giveaway!” If you don’t know, I originally said I would do a $100 giveaway if I got to 100 subscribers by Christmas. I didn’t quite make it so I extended the deadline to January 1st. Well I got 121! I will announce the winner Friday on the blog. Let friends and family know they can still enter the giveaway by subscribing to You, Me, and Tennessee up until midnight on Thursday night the 4th of January. Seriously, I cannot say thank you enough for all the love and support. Every person who follows along on Instagram, Facebook, and right here is greatly appreciated. Good luck everyone!

Disclaimer: I am not a professional blogger. That means I’m mainly followed by friends and family and that one of them could win. I promise that a random number generator will choose. That’s the easy part. You guys coming on board is the hard part so again… thank you!

Until next time,
