Join me for brunch at this delicious mom and pop shop in Wadsworth, Ohio.
I love that they still have a bar with high top chairs. The bar is convenient if you don’t want to wait for a table and you get a front row seat to the action.
Check out those walls adorned with technicolor dog art! I think they’re missing a Corgi painting but I’m biased.
They have lovely outdoor seating! The only thing you miss is the sunny yellow checkered tablecloth!
Christopher’s parents took us here before we had to get back on the road to Tennessee. The food is local (hello coffee!), fresh, and deliciously prepared. We have never had a bad meal at Valley Cafe. I wanted to try the house specialty which is shrimp and grit cakes but I got there too early to order it. I was bummed but it gives me something to look forward to for next time! They have a wide variety of menu options for breakfast and lunch. Everyone’s selections were different (Chris loved “The Harvey” sandwich) but everybody left happy.
P.S. I haven’t yet gained the confidence to take pictures of our food when I’m around other people besides Chris so you’ll just have to trust me that Valley Cafe was tasty. I’m sure I’ll get over it eventually. Even if people think I’m weird for taking pictures of food I’ll get over it. After all, I have quite a few pictures of my Corgi’s backside to post on here at some point and that hasn’t bothered me for a second.
Until next time,
